Class Activities Spring Semester Week Eight

Model will have monitors and evaluations conducted in classes on Wednesday and Thursday. They will not be interrupting the class day or the learning process. These evaluations are a part of the five year Accreditation Process for the school.

Sophomore English (Cumulative Grammar Test)
Monday: Read Articles on the relationship between Modern literature and Roman and Grekk Classics.
Tuesday: Blog Writing day  in the computer lab.
Wednesday: Reading by Thucydides and Tacitus
Thursday: Readings by Plato.
Friday: Grammar Test and Student work day for Classics Project

East Asian Studies
Monday: Review of Japanese Feudalism and Colonialism
Tuesday: Readings and research on Samurai culture.
Wednesday: Watch excerpts from “The Last Samurai” for class project (Day One)
Thursday: Watch excerpts from “The Last Samurai” for class project (Day Two) & review for Unit Three Test on Feudal/Colonial Asia
Friday: Test on Feudal/Colonial Asia

Sociology (Beginning with this week Mr. Wes Neal will be teaching this class.)
Monday: Begin Reading-Definitions for Chapters 5 and 6.
Tuesday: Finish Reading-Definitions for Chapters 5 and 6.
Wednesday: Read about Groupings and accountability structures of a society.
Thursday: Review and lectures on Groupings and accountability structures of a society.
Friday: Share and discuss examples.
