For those intereseted I’m writing this at home on my personal desktop. Yay, Ubuntu!  However, I digress back to the events of the past week and what students have been working on in class.

Psych: I demoed how-to cook a veggie omelet for the students. We completed the first sheet of notes and students worked on their Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs collages.

US History: Students completed the first set of lecture notes. Two reading packets dealing the Founding Fathers and Aaron Burr. As well as a video excerpt from PBS New York. For homework they were describe how Manhattan changed after the American Revolution. Answers should be based on what they understood while watching the video.

Government: Student spent most of the week working on and completing an imaginary country based solely on a type of government. Presentations began on Thursday.
