First Day

Calvin (Calvin and Hobbes)

Congratulations on surviving another summer and welcome back to school. Be sure to follow the Twitter feed or the RSS feed for daily postings and updates and turn in all summer activities on-time. I will be updating the webpage and social media feeds as often as possible. Keep in mind this semester/school year is also an election year, we will be talking about political races often and it would benefit everyone to pay attention to debates.

Here is a collection of articles about the new teaching method that I’ll be using in my classes this year.

  • Forbes: What is the Flipped Classroom
  • Reuters: Moving beyond our vacuous education reform discussions
  • Educause: 7 Things to Know About the Flipped Classroom

Summer of Inspirational Tweets
